Van's Medical Fund

Our dear friend, Van is fighting the battle of her life for a second time. This fighter grew up with no electricity, no running water, and had never seen so much as a car or a TV in her home country. This fighter walked from Vietnam to Cambodia as a 6-year-old child with her 4-year-old little brother to escape a communist regime. This fighter walked through jungles strewn with dead bodies. This fighter dealt with torture at the hands of Cambodian soldiers. This fighter never had a pair of shoes until she was 10. This fighter came to America speaking no English at all. This fighter excelled in school as a 1st generation immigrant. This fighter put herself through college 100%, no student loans. This fighter has battled liver disease, Bell's palsy, stage IV lymphoma and a significant stroke all before the age of 37. This fighter is being challenged again by stage IV cancer, and needs several rounds of daily, intensive chemotherapy, and a stem cell transplant to survive. This fighter has been knocked down dozens of times, if not hundreds. This fighter has never quit. This fighter is a Champion. The next time you are feeling down, or think that your battle is too tough, think of this Champion, and know that you too can get back off the mat and keep fighting. #VANSTRONG
Anyone who knows Van will tell you how incredibly sweet and caring of a person she is, and always has such a positive outlook on life. It is not like Van to ask anyone for anything, so a few of her friends and family thought we would kindly do it for her! It is the very least we can do to help her. Every little bit counts and will assist significantly towards Van’s medical expenses. So please help us help Vanny kick cancers butt for one last time!
The first 100 donor’s will receive a #VANSTRONG wrist band. Please private message me your mailing address.
Thank you for your support!
