I would like to inform you that Universal Creative Expressions will sponsor a fundraising effort for Stella Maris’s school art supplies for the education of the underprivileged and special needs children in Belize City operated by the Ministry of Education. Stella Maris School is the one and only largest school for special need students. For this noble cause there are a lot of expenses required to provide these children adequate art supplies to best fit their individual needs for art therapy and art education.

Your contributions will impact their lives and yours too. Did you know that art therapy is a non-verbal therapeutic tool with visual stimulation that helps developmentally disabled students to freely express their emotions, increase their self-esteem, and enhance their learning opportunities? As an entrepreneur, I was blessed with the wonderful experience of making a difference in the lives of the children of our future.

I created, organized, and conducted art therapy activities with disabled students and trained classroom teachers in art therapy concepts and in class implementation. I also coordinated the countries first ever Art Therapy exhibit which displayed student’s artwork. In art education, student’s learning in art will gain academic and social benefits. It will also promote self-directed learning; improve their critical and creative skills. According to statistics, school attendance increases on average because the majority of students will become happier and love artistic expression.  Art is fundamentally instrumental in everyday life.
