Treasure Trove

Donation protected
"Treasure Trove" is the little experimental shop I am opening at Bayview Corner in Langley, WA.  at the end of April.

It is designed to function as an incubator, offering the opportunity to some of the local artists to try designing affordable Handmade Gifts with the intention of developing production lines for new  wholesale and retail markets, including Museum Gift Shops. We will be able to test market our best ideas in the friendly and supportive environment of Whidbey Island before committing our resources on a larger scale.

The shop will feature an eclectic mix of works, including a Print Bin with prints and giclee's, various textiles including small quilts and Rag Dolls, Glass and Ceramic wares, jewelry, and some genuine treasures dug out of the corners of various art studios. Featured artists will have an opportunity to show experimental works that would not normally be found in places where they might normally exhibit their work, and I will have my own experimental works on view as I prepare for my 2018 exhibition with Tansey Contemporary Gallery in Denver and Santa Fe.

The "Treasure Trove" is a Creativity Generator. Funding will help with setting the space up for business and purchasing needed items, signage, rent, insurance and printing costs. Gratitude will be enormous, and for donations of $80. or more, rewarded with a giclee print.
