Trauma-Aware Massage Inner Circle

Mission
I'm seeking $10,000, in the form of $100 each from 100 donors, to create a college-level program in Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy at my school, the Pacific Northwest College of Allied Health Sciences (http://pncahs.com).

Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy
Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy is based on a proposal by Christopher Moyer, PhD (you can read his paper "Affective Massage Therapy" by clicking here ), and integrated with the latest science-based knowledge on trauma, stress, depression, and anxiety (you can read an example of this research about the relationships among PTSD, social networks, and suicide risk, by clicking here).

Purpose of donations
I will use this money to develop courses for certification of licensed massage therapists in Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy. I will make the foundational textbook and informational videos available on the Internet free of charge to anyone who is interested, by 31 December 2015.

Here's a sample class advertisement for a class coming up in Seattle on 30 June 2015:

Service outreach clinics
Beginning in September 2015, students will provide continuing low- or no-cost Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy clinics to vulnerable and underserved populations in need of our services.

In that way, your and my community of supporters of Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy will make a real and positive difference in the world.

Donor rewards
Class discounts: Members of the Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy Founders Circle who hold an unencumbered license to practice massage in the appropriate jurisdiction, and who hold appropriate practice insurance, will be able to participate in selected hands-on clinical classes in Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy for 50% off the normal price of the class.

Acknowledgement: Members of the Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy Founders Circle will be recognized by name at the Pacific Northwest College of Allied Health Sciences website, and in the dedication of the foundational textbook.

T-shirt: Members of the Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy Founders Circle will receive a T-shirt acknowledging your membership in the Inner Circle. The design below is just a rough proof of concept; you'll have the opportunity to review and vote on the design before the shirts are printed and shipped.

How to make this happen
Just donate $100 at the link, and you've started us out on our path together.

Thank you for considering becoming one of the select members of a community working to decrease suffering by making Trauma-Aware Massage Therapy widely available.

I am grateful, and the clients for whom you're making this possible, will also experience a real difference, thanks to you.
