Tracie's Costa Rica Mission's Trip

2 1/2 years ago I was blessed to go on a missions trip to Cos
ta Rica during my senior year of College.  During this trip my heart and faith in Christ grew and my passion for those in Central America and sharing the love of Christ blossomed.  A part of me was left behind in the country and with the foster children at Roblealto.  Right when I came back home, I continued to pray for and sponser children that I met at Roblealto.  I longed to go back and continue caring and ministering to the children and adults.  Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would get the opportunity to GO BACK to Costa Rica and once again serve the people of this beautiful country.
On May 27th-June 3rd I will once again be serving on a missions trip in San Jose Costa Rica, where I will be doing many different service projects and ministering activities with fellow social workers and future social workers.  During this trip, we will not only be serving the community but learning how to break cultural barriers within the social work field and we will be partnering with Praying Pelicans, A non-profit christian outreach ministry organization.
My GOAL is to gain not only my financial goal of $1,850 but to also gain support through prayer and encouragement from those who want to support financially as well as those who want to support but can not financially.  I want to build a support team of individuals who want to support the work of Christ through others.  If 50 people donate only $37 I will meet my goal of $1,850.  I pray that the Lord guides you in your support of the work that is and will be done in Costa Rica.
