Dear Family and Friends,
My name is Toni Brown and I have some exciting news! I have been selected as an official finalist in the Miss Teen Pageant taking place on Sunday, February 21, 2016. If I happen to be crowned Miss Teen, I will represent Houston and surrounding communities in the National Miss Teen Pageant taking place in Orlando, Florida. This kind of competition is an excellent experience. I am confident that I can do well, and that it will lead to many great opportunities in the future.
I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a 17 year old student at Cypress Lakes High School. Some of my extracurricular activities and proudest achievements include:
● Member of Health Occupations Students of America for Future Health Professionals
(HOSA)
● Varsity Choir
● Honor’s English
● 5.1 G. P. A.
● Awards in Math and English
● Spartan of the First & Second Six Weeks

Va lue their school and classmates, A s pire to become a better student, L e ad by being a
leader to their peers inside and outside of the hallway, O w n their actions, and R e spond
appropriately to the events around them.
● Several performances in my high school musicals
● Volunteering at my local library and with my Varsity Choir
After graduating high school, I plan to attend Baylor University to pursue a career in plastic surgery. My goal is to someday help give breast cancer survivors their confidence back by donating breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy to those who are unable to afford it.
The Miss Teen pageant system is all about building young women into leaders, and I am proud to have been selected from among the applicants that were processed. Participating in the Miss Teen pageant will help me gain poise, interviewing experience, and confidence in public speaking. These skills will prepare me for college and job interviews.
I am hoping you will participate with me! Yes, you can participate by being one of my sponsors. I am trying to raise $720.00. You may contribute all or part of it. The sponsorship is necessary to help cover the following expenses: my application and processing, my training class, production costs and all funds used for prizes.
I sincerely hope you will choose to celebrate with me. If you own a business, this is tax deductible for you and you will receive a receipt for your sponsorship.
