Chasing the Tennis Dream

Hello all,
I would first like to thank you for the time you are about to take to read my page.
My name is Kevin Raley, I am 20 years old; living in Wesley Chapel, Florida. I currently hold seasonal teaching positions, splitting time between Boston, Massachusetts & Tampa, Florida.
I fell in Love with tennis exactly five years ago this upcoming summer! Within the approximate five years I have been playing, I have been on a glorious journey.
When I was 16, I moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia where I was introduced to tennis. From the day I grabbed a racquet, it was instantaneous; Love at first stroke, passion building from every changeover.
I continued to practice in my off time. The local courts had a tennis wall where I would practice everyday until the lights went out at 10:00 p.m.. While I was hitting on the wall, I would attempt to hit with every person that looked available!
I used tennis as a motivation to better my life; grades, health, fitness, mental toughness & maturity.
My second year playing, I ended up playing number 1 for my high school. Tennis gave me the motivation to try to get into college. Before tennis I had no sense of the future, no sense of achievement, no sense of work ethic. However, with my new found passion, I worked very hard in school and on the court to make my dream of making a college team come true!
I made it!! My senior year I was accepted to Methodist University where I made the roster and was a part of a great team!
I received a teaching job my first summer home from college. I became the Assistant Tennis Pro at Culpeper Sport & Racquet Club. I was given the opportunity to continue growing my game as well as teach full time to better my career goals of becoming the best tennis instructor I could be.
I have since moved on to establish a great opportunity for myself to achieve more "personal goals" and really focus on what my story entails. I have begun to understand what I truly love and care about; Family, teaching & tennis. Tennis has been a big part in my life.
I love teaching and being able to meet and change the lives of extraordinary people, but now I understand that the most extraordinary person I can help is myself!
I have developed new personal goals of going pro. I play hard every day, training on & off the court. Trying to better my lifestyle with the help of great people who surround me everyday. Using Yoga & Boxing as a big motion of cross training to be able to better myself everyday.
I am a naturally gifted tennis player who trains with a team aspiring to play tournaments and travel full time. I want to be the best person, athlete & motivator I can possibly be. I currently travel with the team and love to support my friends and hitting partners while they play tournaments, but deep down it kills me when I know that I can not afford to strive and completely support myself and my dreams.
I have grown to love myself and my talents. I will become a great tennis player who can make a difference in the world.
I am determined to work tirelessly for the opportunity to make a name for myself. I have amazing support from family and friends with endless love & compassion. Now, I am asking for support from you too.
With the help of others I will be able to continue chasing my dreams in achieving greatness. My ambition is to travel and play different tournaments around the world so I can make a name for myself & get points to make it on the pro circuit.
2016 Summer Olympics is my goal, I will compete!
I hope to see you on the court!
Thank you for your love & support.
Peace, love & bliss.
Yours truly,
Kevin Walter Raley
