The Glenn Marais Band CD Project

We are the Glenn Marais Band. We are big dreamers and incredibly passionate about our music.  We call our live show, "The Mojo Train", cuz we come in like a steam train, blasting with energy and power and it's all about the Mojo force of love and passion.  We want to share that all over the world with a brand new CD and video.

Last year we decided to work harder and dream bigger than we ever have.  We entered and won a contest that paid for a video and part of the recording for our new CD. With the prize we created a 7 minute video for our anti-bullying song, "Say my Name", that is at over 100 000 views on You Tube and is helping people all over the world deal with the scourge of bullying.  We launched a nationwide kindness campaign, Say My Name Canada,  that reached over 150 000 people and inspired hope and change across Canada.  It feels good to help people with our music. In fact we have also raised 90 000 for the Cotlands orphanage in South Africa with our song Like a Child and several fundraising concerts.  We believe in using music to heal, to  help and to give hope. 

Why a  Go Fund Me campaign?  
We need help to finish our CD.
Last year taught us that if we work hard, believe in ourselves and reach out with the healing power of music, that we could make a difference in the world.  We were blessed with the prize money from York Region Arts Council, but it is expensive to do a CD. 
 
We know that this next CD is going to be our best yet and we want to share it with our friends and family, our fans and the whole  world.
