Our mission at Mesilla Park Healing Arts, 'Growing organically through mind, body, and spirit', was written very loosely to be able to help our clients in any way that best suits their needs.
As our Community Crisis Intervention Program grew, we saw an increase of homeless teens. This led to the birth of our foster care program. MPHA currently fosters children, ages 10-18, from families involved in our crisis program.
As this program continues to rapidly grow the need for a large housing facilities has become almost immediate. We are now reaching out to the community to join us in making this a reality.
We found the perfect house in Truth or Consequences, that will be able to keep all of the foster children under one roof. It is also large enough to provide a separate space for 24 hours staffing. We just need help to cover closing costs so we can finally purchase our own building!
