JOIN/DONATE TO SYRIAN REFUGEES CALL

Hello,
I am Weaim Aiad from Toronto, Ontario. For one week at the end of April, I will be going to Jordan on a mission with the Atlantic Humanitarian Relief to assist with humanitarian efforts to the Syrian refugees who are stuck near the Jordan border, some being in refugee camps ,and others in random camps. These are people who have yet to find an open spot at the UNHCR. Due to space and overcrowding, many of these people will continue to be displaced and suffer terrible consequences for themselves and their children.

If you would like to assist please consider doing any or all of the following:

1- Join me and the team from April 21st to April 26th, Cost of travel is on the person volunteering and anyone is welcome (medical or non-medical fields). It’s one week and your work will do an immeasurable difference.

2- Donate medical supplies. There is a major shortage in Jordan and anything you send will be packed in suitcases and brought by the team and will be administered to the appropriate emergency care facilities on the ground. Please contact me personally for mailing information, or if you are in the Greater Toronto Area other arrangements can be made.

3- Donate to this cause. 100% of the funds will be directly used for medical supplies or surgical procedures for the Syrian refugees stuck in that region. Gofundme does not take any fees (unless you tip), AHR does not take any fees; this will be as direct as possible. I am just a volunteer for AHR and in-fact the entire organization is built on people who just give their time and efforts to try to save as many lives as possible. No one in the organization gets payed and all funds will be released to AHR with the supervision of myself as well as Karrar Jafar (our logistical partner), in making sure that funds are spent in the means that was prescribed above.
