The Blended Bakery Storefront

The Blended Bakery officially started as an in-home bakery on April 1, 2016 making custom cakes, cookies, and hosting birthday parties.  The idea was birthed by our desire to bring good food and quality time to family and friends.  Since we make everything from scratch at home, we figured those around us would enjoy the same thing.  To our surprise, we found that people are craving an old fashioned bakery and cafe where they can go to relax and enjoy a homemade goodie, a gourmet cup of coffee, or find goods from local artisans.  You can find out more about our current business and our family here .

We want to share that same experience with our family and friends in the Lexington, SC area.  As I traveled and lived in Europe for 4 years, I have fond memories of walking into a full service bakery, smelling the fresh coffee, breads, cakes, chocolates, and fudge.  It is extremely hard to find that around here, so we are now looking for people who would partner with us to open a storefront where you can find a variety of coffee, teas, espressos, purchase a made from scratch bagel, muffin, cookie or even order a birthday cake, wedding cake, or loaf of bread.  We value small businesses and therefore strive to purchase from other local small businesses and farms.  We only use fresh ingredients and try to stay as all natural as possible, and we believe you can taste the difference in our products.  For example, we raise our own chickens and use their eggs in our goods.  In times of plenty, we also offer these for sale to our customers.  

But we need your help to get us into a store.  We believe by providing an atmosphere where people feel welcome, can come enjoy some of our family favorites, and even purchase gifts from a gift store, their lives will be enhanced.  We want to be a source of hope in our community.  We also know that Faith is the Substance of things hoped for and the EVIDENCE of things unseen.  The funds raised will help us purchase and/or lease a building, the necessary equipment, and open a local storefront. By fundraising the upfront capital expenses, we hope to keep our overhead low, and our prices affordable, without sacrificing the quality of the ingredients.
