Terrell Jordan’s Liver Transplant Fund
This Go Fund Me Campaign is for Terrell Scott Jordan, who is an amazing Husband, Father, Brother and Friend. Those who’ve had the good fortune to meet Terrell know what a kind and loyal friend he is. He has always helped others when he could and now he needs your help to get through this extremely stressful and hard time in his life.
This fund raising effort is to help offset the medical bills, lifelong medications, travel expenses and living expenses that are occurring in order for Terrell to have a Liver Transplant.
The doctors are ready to do the Transplant as soon as a Liver is available. A liver transplant is the process of replacing a sick liver with a donated, healthy liver. Liver transplants require that the blood type and body size of the donor match the person receiving the transplant. Liver transplant surgery can take up to twelve hours to complete. He will have an extremely long road of healing after the surgery. In order to recuperate Terrell must remain at Ocshners Hospital in New Orleans in to see his physicians, go through physical and other types of therapy, and most importantly, in case he has to return to Ochsners because of any complications. He will need to stay at “The Brent House” which is a Hotel connected to the hospital for about 3 weeks after the surgery. The rooms are quite expensive at rates up to $150. a night. He will also have a lot of other personal expenses to cover.
