Terese McCarthy's Medical Expenses

Someone who is always there for others needs your help.  Terese McCarthy is a dedicated mother of two beautiful daughters (16 & 13) and she needs your help.  Terese has leukemia; she was in remission for nearly a year and now it's back.  She will have to be subjected to a full month in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy and then a month sequestered at home and then another month in the hospital for a bone marrow transplant followed by one more month sequestered.  

Terese takes care of not only her daughters (who are in Wisdom Lane Middle School and Division Avenue High School) and her loving husband (a hard-working family man), but also her nephew (who is also a student at Division Ave.), her elderly father and her ill sister, all of whom live in the house - a family of seven.  When Terese goes in to the hospital, the financial strain (to say nothing of the emotional and psychological strain) on the family increases, which is why we are asking for your help.  We're looking to raise money to help with her astronomical medical expenses and to help pay for a nurse's aide to come to the house to help take care of her father and sister while she is not there.  Terese will be going in for her first round of treatment on April 27th.  Please donate anything you can.  We understand that times are hard for everyone so if you can't donate any money, please just say a prayer; we can use all the help we can get.   Terese has always been there for anyone who needs her within the community and now we need help for her.
