Teen Summit- Chicago Style

Greetings,
I am Jessica LaShawn the founder of the Jessica LaShawn Foundation. I am raising money to host a monthly event to enlighten teens with an Empowerment Boot Camp. The camp will allow myself and other mentors to answer any questions the youth may have about self-identity, being safe in their neighborhoods, furthering their education, developing job readiness skills and a few inquires about their love of fashion, sports, and entertainment. The money to fund this project is needed as soon as possible to make this teen summit happen on 03/12/16.  (************UPDATE*******  Due to a lack of funding this event must be pushed back until April.) The money will be used to print out a workbook, feed the teens and pay for the lecture hall.  I was able to host an event like this in December and it impacted the kids so much that they have begged me to do it again with even more people. I am extremely active within my community and I love to give back to the youth. Support me as I attempt to change lives and ultimately the future.

Each Teen will receive a complimentary issue of Y Magazine. Y Magazine is a teen magazine that fills in the gaps between what young people learn at school, at home and from their peers. It's an entertaining educational tool that teens and adults enjoy.
