Fundraiser Jim & Erin Balmer Family

Donation protected
Our Friend Jim Balmer lost his life violently on September14, 2016.

Jim was only 46 years young and was something special to all of us.   Jim cared alot about people......Some people called him friend, Dad, some family and others coach. He was a giving and kind person, who cared deeply for his family, church and community.
We were lucky to have Jim in our Lives this long - His family is a legacy to all that was Jim. In His spirit, let us support this legacy by helping his wife Erin and his three children Tegan, Ben and Delany as they continue to carry on His Love of Life.

Jim was born Dec. 18, 1969, in Hammond, Ind., the son of James Robert Sr. and Joyce J. (Montalbano) Balmer. His parents preceded him in death.
He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a current member of the Peotone Baseball Board and enjoyed coaching softball, baseball and football. He was a former member of the Peotone Park Board and the Blue Demon's Football Board.

Surviving are his wife, Erin (Schwiesow) Balmer, who he married on Jan. 14, 2000; three children, Teagan, Benjamin and Delaney Balmer; three sisters and one brother, Kathleen (Phil) Talent, of Lockport, Carrie (Bob) Petrowski, of Tinley Park, William J. Balmer, of Chicago, and Joan (Dave) Ball, of Carmel, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
