TeamTanya Project - African Girl MX

$500 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 12 people in 45 months
Imagine a little girl with rural Africa in her blood that dreams of becoming an international motocross star.

Meet Tanya Muzinda.

Tanya is from Zimbabwe and she is the first generation of her family to be born in the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare.

Team Tanya was created to help this little girl reach her dream. Thanks to #TeamTanya's efforts, Tanya now is able to go to school (first one of her family's history).

Our goal is to help her in every aspect we can. This includes with her education, travel costs to attend training sessions and racing events, shipping any of her sponsors/supporters products to Africa, and anything else she needs along the way to fulfill her dream

When you donate, you're supporting a young girls dream at becoming the first female out of Africa's rural area to compete internationally on a professional level in the sport of Motocross.

For every $20+ donation made, you will receive an official "#TeamTanya" sticker for supporting the cause. 100% of the proceeds goes directly to the Team Tanya project.

The world of motocross is getting together to help Tanya in changing her future. Are you ready to be part of #TeamTanya?

*UPDATE* 07/17/2014:
Currently, we need to ship product that sponsors/supporters have sent in, to Zimbabwe to help her in her racing dreams.
To ship the care package to Zimbabwe that we have prepared, we were given a quote of $1,500.00.
We are looking for support to cover the expenses to ship product to her.*

Any help you can provide is very much appreciated by Tanya and the team.

Thank you,

Never give up girl!! Motocross racing can be a roller coaster ride of ups and downs. But it will teach you so many valuable lessons for life and there's no better feeling in the world than swinging your leg over your bike and ripping out some laps! I coach/train motocross racers back in Pennsylvania. A long long way from you. If you need help with any struggles hit me up. I would love to help! Skype: scoob7541

Keep Chasing your dreams. I started racing at 14 and I worked to race and am now a AMA pro rider at 22; my dreams and goals are still really big but I want to encourage you to keep going. I started late in racing and was slow for a few years but I love to ride so much and never gave up. Put the work in and always believe you can do it! I don't have alot of money to give but more encouragement to keep you going. I am blessed to live in the USA and have alot to be thankful for, but know that no matter who you are, what you have, and where you live are only simple challenges that you can over come if you put your mind to it. If you ever come to Oregon you would definitely have a friend and a riding buddy. Have fun with that bike!
