City Colts Tackle the Streets

Donation protected

City Colts Football  is  working  hard to "Tackle the Streets " by keeping our inner city youth on the football  field  in a safe environment and off the streets.

Why is City Colts Football the best youth football team in Indianapolis?

Aside from our winning records, our coaches believe in our student athletes and the fundamentals behind the sport.  Hardwork and Dedication.

"Hardwork beats talent when Talent refuses to Work Hard"

Our number one priority is our kids.  We recognize the need in Central Indianapolis to get our youth involved in organized sports at a young age. Most of our youth come from the inner city areas where we have the highest crime rates.
We expose our youth to the endless possibilites that await them outside of their neighborhoods. We travel to other cities within Indiana and the Mid West Regions to give them the best opportunities and exposure.

We start our pre-season conditioning in April, we start full practices in June, and continue playing until the end of our regular season in October.  We try to keep them busy with football as much of the year as possible.
After our regular season we start taking our group of All Stars on the road to tournaments.  We have sent players as far south as Florida and as far east as Pennsylvania.

We try to keep our program as affordable as possible for the community and to keep as many kids as  we can off the streets. Because of this, we have to ask for donations and sponsorships to help make City Colts Football a success.

All of our coaches and team moms are volunteers and go through the USA Heads Up certification process for youth tackle football, including the concussion and first aid training.

For these reasons, we ask that donors  help us "Tackle the Streets" and keep our youth involved in organized sports.

We are a non-profit organization and all donations and sponsorships are tax deductible.

It currently costs us aproximatley  $100.00 + per player to provide equipment and game day jerseys.

In 2017  our program has grown to add 2 additional teams. Currently, we have more than 120 players between the ages of 6 and14. With this growth, we are able to help even more youth to be involved in a positive, safe enviroment while learning the meaning of  Hardwork and Dedication.

Two seasons ago, we were also able to have our City Colts Cheerleaders. We are hoping to be able to bring them back again soon.

It costs us aproximatley 75.00 per cheerleader for a uniform and pom poms per season.

We start each season off with our "FAMILY FUN DAY PICNIC".  We want to build our program up as a family, both on and off the field.

We finish off our season with an Awards Banquet where we honor our kids for all of the Hardwork and Dedication  they have put in on the field and in their classrooms during the season.  We not only give out awards based on their skills on the field, but for their academic achievements as well. We want to encourage our student athletes to continue showing Hardwork and Dedication on and off the field all year round.

As our program grows we find it necessary to ask for help from our city to continue to make this program possible and allow us to continue to grow. We are a Non Profit organization and all donations and sponorships are tax deductible.
