T-for-Tal (Talmage C. Brock Foundation)
Our hopes are to raise funds for the Foundation in Tal's honor. All donations will go towards local and national children's benevolences, and also towards promoting water safety awareness.
If you are able to give any size donation to the Foundation, now or in the future, we would be deeply appreciative.

"I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming."
Dear Brock Family and supporters,
In my 35 years leading ISR forward in an effort to see the day when Not One More Child Drowns, I've had the unfortunate opportunity to speak with families who, like the Brock Family, have experienced the exact tragedy, I've devoted my entire life to trying to prevent.
As a mother myself, privately, I cannot imagine having the strength to turn my own heartbreak into such a significantly positive opportunity for other families to safeguard their children; in that regard, I want all of the donors and supporters, and most of all the Brock Family to know, that your show of support and strength will sustain our ever growing team of Instructors in our effort to spare families the pain with which we know you are all too familiar.
This year, because of your efforts, and your generous donation of $10,000 more children who otherwise may not have been able to participate in lessons will learn to save themselves in the water should the need arise, and that is no small accomplishment. As a family company, the day I spoke with you, Bret, I shared your sentiment and desire to help with several of our staff, and we have several Instructors who would like to donate their time in remembrance of Tal and in thanks to your community wide effort to prevent these tragedies.
I sincerely hope each of you reading this will know in your hearts that a significant difference has been made far and above a monetary donation. Our Instructors will be motivated, and our staff is humbled. We will continue our work, with your help, and touch many more lives together. Again, form the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of the entire organization we sincerely thank the Brock Family, and their supporters, I look forward to updating all of you on the strides we've made as a result of your collective effort.
Very Sincerely Yours,
President, Infant Swimming Resource

2014 offers much hope and promise for our family and the foundation. We hope to quickly reach our initial goal of $20,000 for the foundation, but it won't stop there. Through 2014 and the coming years, we look to partner and support charitable causes such as Infantswim.com (a provider of survival swimming lessons for children aged 6 months to 6 years in age). We also, have ideas for community service, and additional future active fundraising events such as a charity Golf Tournament. Please stay in touch, and check back with us as the foundation begins to grow. We will have an informational website running at www.T-for-Tal.com in the coming months.
For now, I will leave you with a helpful link to share regarding water safety which was left by a friend on the ARLnow.com website after the story of the foundation had been posted.
