Suzy's Courageous Battle

This is my big sister, Sue LeMay. She was diagnosed with cancer in July of 2014. After over thirty rounds of four different kinds of chemo, and many, many difficult days fighting for her life, this cancer has proven relentless. Her oncologist from The Cleveland Clinic told us that he felt she was ready for hospice and there was nothing else that the medical team could do. The look on her face was heartbreaking. She has three children, Michelle, Jakob and Sonny. Michelle and Jake are  grown and on their own, but her youngest daughter, Sonny, is a Senior this year and is going to graduate from high school in a few months. She has her heart set on attending Kent State in the fall. She has been her Mom's primary caregiver for over two years now. She has made enourmous sacrifices trying to get her Mom disease-free. Sonny has missed school dances, football games, going out on the weekends with friends, and countless other things teenagers do, to selflessly stay at home and take care of her Mom. She will be turning 18 soon and we are all praying my sister is there celebrating with us! The home they live in is in desperate need of repair and she has been too proud to ask for any kind of help in this three year long battle. She has always had the mindset that she will overcome this and be back on her feet soon! Donations will be used to help with utilities and household expenses! Help Sonny to be able to stay in the home if possible. Get much needed medical equipment to help make her comfortable! A college starter fund for my niece! My sister is one of the absolute strongest people I know (along with our Mom) and I love her with all my heart and soul. I'd like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading her story.
