Support ETI to Educate Blind Youths

Donation protected
Empowerment Through Integration (ETI), is a 501(c)3 certified nonprofit that began in 2009 as an educational summer program offered to the visually impaired of the developing world currently in regions within the Middle East and North Africa and expanding globally in the near future.
Now, more than ever, we are indebted to a servitude of favor for the people from each corner of the world and of each level of ability. This begins with the offering of an invaluable resource more precious than any material currency – the education and encouragement for our world’s youth.  ETI defines a new-aged reality in which an entire community of blind or low-vision individuals are not only given the opportunity to enrich their own life experience through various hands-on activities, but are given a new hope for an inclusion into a society that has been previously intangible by a cultural stigma. Our goal is to explore the field of science through educational curricula written in-house and to encourage and spark an inspiration for young students to follow dreams equivalent to their sighted peers. Led by computational chemist Dr. Mona Minkara, our STEM education team, Dr. Robert Hembree, Connor Venteicher, and John Hamill, is driven to pursue a new status quo that will provide a vision to those who may feel they are limited by their physical ability. A new change in today's world begins with you, begins with us.

To accomplish our mission, we require funds to cover travel expenses to and between Tripoli and Beirut of Lebanon. Our venture to Lebanon is vital to properly administer our curricula in late July and early August of 2017. To help our cause would not only be a great benefit to the underprivileged communities of emerging nations, but a promotion of an idea. An idea for the inclusion of all peoples limited only by the extent of our human compassion.

Your generosity will be cherished by today's youth who will be given an immersive and monumental experience that will shape the future of STEM fields. And for that, from all of us with ETI, we are forever grateful.
