YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOU!
BRfm is more than just a radio station, it is a commmunity hub and for the last couple of years has been without capital funding. It has been relying on what it could earn by it’s own means. Unfortunately, this has become a struggle and need the help of the public and our listeners to ensure we can keep this great institution on air and doing what it does best. We do not intend to bury our heads in the sand and walk away from this great Community Group, as the BRfm team is doing all in it’s power to keep it alive.
BRfm radio has been a great supporter of local events, plus a great believer in all generations who wish to gain confidence in life after a trauma or a set back.
To many, we are also a friend in the home of people living on their own. Some are blind, some can not read. They rely on the local radio to keep them up to date with the local news and being able to ring us for a chat asking for a request, for advice and sign posting.
