Help Send SF Youth to Africa!

Each year Operation Genesis Inc., in partnership with San Francisco Police Department, sends 10-15 San Francisco high school students to Ghana where they learn about history and culture. At its core, it is a journey of self-discovery. While in Ghana our students volunteer time and provide the locals with valuable necessities.

Our students return with a greater appreciation for their families and a greater awareness of their own identities. We work hard to create leaders who return to San Francisco's most disenfranchised neighborhoods and transform their communities.

Operation Genesis Inc. was created by San Francisco Police Officer Jason Johnson, Kron 4 Hero and Bay Area Jefferson Award winner. Through the annual Genesis trip and our other programs, we are repairing the relationship between law enforcement and local communities.
