Send Street Kings to Nationals
Starting in 2013, our Studio Directors had a dream to elevate dance in the Lower Mainland of BC, both to create elite teams, and for those teams to be ambassadors of supprt and encouragement within the competitive dance community.
While being supportive and encouraging have come natural to these kids, they have worked hard to build their dance skills, tighten their routines, and perform to the highest of standards.
We now have the opportunity to show them that their hard work and community building have been noticed by returning their support and encouragement.
3 teams have qualified for the Canadian Hip Hop Championships to be held in Montreal, Quebec on the first weekend in June. "Dames" and "Dominuss" are all-girl teams of 9 dancers each, and "GGG" is an all-boy 6 member team. In Montreal, they will compete for the Canadian National Varsity title, and the opportunity to represent Canada at the World Hip Hop Championship in Las Vegas.
The kids/dancers have been training day and night to be ready, now we just need to get them there, so are looking for support to cover some of the Flight and Hotel costs.
