St. Joseph Activity Center Floor

The multi-purpose floor surface in the Activity Center (the AC) at St. Joseph is in need of replacement. The current floor was installed in 1999 and is far beyond its useful life. The AC is used by St. Joseph Catholic School students, St. Joseph Church/Parish members, Religious Formation, the St. Joseph Women’s Guild, our Parish Fish Fry's, and dozens of St. Joseph School Athletics teams. The St. Joseph Athletic Club is spearheading the fundraising efforts for the floor surface replacement, and has successfully secured approximately half of the necessary funds for the project. The estimate for the project is approximately $64,000. It is our goal to lower this amount by soliciting parish volunteers to aid in the demolition and removal of the existing floor surface.
Any funds raised in excess of $64,000 will be used for various additional improvements in the Activity Center. These improvements may include new electric hand dryers and baby changing tables in the restrooms, a new electric water bottle filling station, and various other improvements.
All donations are fully tax deductible. Any donor making a donation over $150 will be recognized on a special display that will be a permanent fixture in the AC.
