Orphan Hosting… Adoption… Securing futures and building families.
We have met the most incredible boy, but he lives in an orphanage in a country that is still new in its independence and still fighting to maintain it. A country without elderly people, because alcoholism claims so many lives. A boy that is 1 in 143 million orphans worldwide. This summer we fell in love with this sweet kid and cannot allow him to age out of the orphanage in 6 months at the young age of 16.
The buying back of lives is expensive business. There are so many people and moving parts involved and, let’s face it, everyone needs to earn a paycheck – even social workers and agency employees. As a family we have saved, refinanced our home, I have taken on part-time work, we’ve sold clothes/purses, and I’m selling nativity sets I make. While all of these efforts have been successful, it’s just not enough.
So, we are hosting our boy and his big brother this Christmas, and with all of our personal efforts and fundraising we have funded $4,400 in hosting fees... but we are $1,400 short. This money is due in 10 days. 10 days, so that travel and visas can be secured in time for holiday travel. 10 days.
We humbly ask for your sponsorship of these teen boys. Boys that want nothing for Christmas except a family. Our boy dreams of having a snowball fight with a family of his own, with his brother at his side. Help us end their 10 year stint in the orphanage.

3. One-time donation – Your GoFundMe donation will be made tax deductible by our facilitators.
4. Adopt a puzzle piece or multiple – Puzzle pieces are $10/each and we will write your name on our adoption puzzle to make a tapestry of love for us to see for years to come!
We know that you have so many worthy causes to give your hard-earned money to. We know everyone is stretched thin. We cannot stress enough that – with your help – we can change the lives of two children. We can give them hope and a future. A family to call their own. We cannot do it on our own.
