Florida National Championships

Our team name is SoCal Legacy and we are a part of the SoCal Beach Soccer Club, actually we are founding members. We won the Major Beach Soccer BU14 National Championships last December in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Many "Go Fund Me" supporters helped us get there and, in doing so, gave us an incredible opportunity to win a national competition. For that we are forever thankful. We are now looking to go back and compete in the BU16 division and repeat in an older age bracket, but we need your support.
Last year, we were the only team from our community that competed in this tournament, but we inspired alot of other players, coaches and teams after we returned with the national title in hand. This year, 3 other teams, in addition to Legacy, qualified for this invitational "tournament of champions" and national competition. Those teams have been fundraising for months and are going...and now, in the eleventh hour, we are attempting to go with them so we can be a part of this historic event, as 4 teams converge from our cities of Oceanside and Vista California to compete against other teams from across the country.
Here is how you can help: We have pulled together most of the money needed for airfare but we are looking to fill that gap as well as raise funding for lodging, ground transportation, and tournament entry fees. We need these funds as soon as possible to allow us to begin making payments on these items as time is running out.
We cannot begin to express our appreciation for everything our community, friends, and families did to help us fly across the country and win nationals. We are hoping and praying to get your help again here. Last year we needed a lot more funding than this year, because we had to pay for all the airfare. This time the goal is much closer to acheive. It would mean so much to us if we could go back again this year and compete, not just to win the national championship and be one of the four California teams that are poised to sweep the tournament, but also as part of our preparation to compete at Virginia Beach in the North American Sand Soccer Championships next June. That is the largest beach soccer event in the world, bar none, with close to 1,500 teams competing annually.
Please help this winning team reach its goal, and become national champions once more and to help position them, through this trip to Florida, to win the North American Championships next year. Thanks so much.
