Harvey's Photography Exhibit
Ever since I first picked up my Canon and began covering events, concerts, festivals, etc. doors that I never dreamed of began to open. People from all over have sought me out to photograph some pretty awesome moments of their lives and I am only grateful for having been given such opportunities. With your help I will be sharing many of those moments as well as others with the Washington DC Metropolitan Area via my first ever solo photography exhibit.
The overwhelming encouragement that I have received from you all is a large part of why I am finally moving forward with this project. My photo exhibit, titled “The World is Your Stage” is a documentarian adaptation of the iconic line of Sir William Shakespeare's "As You Like It", Act II, Scene VII [“All the world’s a stage…”]. His photo series will depict the seven stages of mankind throughout artistic expression from grand stages in front of audiences of thousands to street corners in front of bystanders. This exhibit is Harvey’s way of celebrating the passion that drives an artist or performer; regardless of the stage of life that they’re in – from being a dreamer of the craft, to a veteran, or someone who longs to return to their art. He feels it is important to recognize and to celebrate these passions, not just for them, but for who they inspire.
A lot of hard work is required to make this exhibit a success. With your continued support and help this hard work can and will be accomplished. I am launching this GoFundMe to raise capital that will help offset the costs of venue procurement, reception, staffing, and materials and labor. Any amount that is donated will be graciously appreciated.
