Help Summer Fight Epilepsy

This is Summer. She is an awesome little girl with a wonderful sense of humor (you can see her trying to act mad at me for taking the picture during the EEG testing). She was diagnosed with epilepsy about 3 years ago. Over the past few months, her seizures have increased from 5 or 6 in one day every few weeks to 10 or 12 a day, sometimes more. She was recently hospitalized after having 31 seizures in one day. She is scheduled for brain surgery soon that will hopefully reduce or eliminate the seizures. After the surgery, she will have to go through a few weeks of physical therapy as the surgery may temporarily affect her motor skills. This will require us to take some unpaid time away from work, and as the hospital is 2 hours away, incur quite a bit in medical expenses and transportation costs. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
