Last week our friend Siggi was taken suddenly from us in a tragic accident. He left behind his beautiful partner Klara, who is 9 months pregnant with their second child, their 4 year old daughter, MaryLou, and their amazing Dog Sledding Kennel.
Siggi was beloved by many and touched thousands of people through dogsledding. With endless passion and dedication, Siggi helped create unforgettable memories to anyone who ever visited the kennel. Siggi was a devoted father and husband, as well as mentor to many. His enthusiasm and positive energy was infectious and will be dearly missed.
Funds will be used to help pay for funeral expenses, family expenses and to continue Siggi’s legacy in the business he loved so much, taking care of their 49 amazing Greenlandic and Alaskan huskies. Without Siggi to do regular pickups for their Dogsledding Company and take tourists on tours, the family has lost their main source of income.
Funds are needed as soon as possible to help get the family through the next few months as they hire and train new staff to run their kennel as well as prepare for the birth of Siggi & Klara's baby boy due at the end of May.
All money raised will go directly to Siggi’s family and their two children.
