Service dog

I am a Veteran of the USAF during the Desert Shield campaign. I am currently battling the VA for disabilities that occured while I was in the service. I was involved in a automobile accident in Germany with a rental car and the car company charged my ML credit card without authorization, The military lawyer liason between the Germans and Service members was on leave at the time. This was during a period when they were looking for people to discharge. I was able to get a General discharge (with honorable conditions)

I currently have back issues, carpal tunnel, a bad shoulder, chronic migraines, and fibro. Which most can be traced back to my military service. Yet they have decided that they are not "service connected" and only gave me 10% for hearing.

My current budget allows for me to make my day to day living and bills but I would like to get a service dog to help with some of the mobility issues I have on bad days and early detection of migraines.  After doing much research I have broken down the price in the following way.

$125 purchase price (will be doing a rescue)

$2,000 vet bills (inherited dental issues caused increased costs)

$2,000 training expenses (emotional baggage caused increased costs)

$100 service gear

$1,000 food/treats/toys

$5,200 total

This is the BARE minimum, more is needed if I want to do even more advanced training.
