Seaport Art Walk Sustainable Oceans

Donation protected

Hello! I am Jessica Bregoli, a local New Bedford sculpture artist and the art administrator for this year’s Seaport Art Walk.

This year’s theme is "Sustainable Oceans" The art work will be inspired by the problems and solutions, globally, with in our oceans and waterways. Topics may include Fracking, Acidification, Trash island, Fukushima, etc.

We are raising money to pay artists not only for their materials, but for their experience and vision. This year we added a new element where we hire scientific scholars to talk and collaborate with the artists on the topics.

The New Bedford working waterfront will be transformed with original sculptures an murals created by local and regional artists. Ten to twenty sculptures and murals will be temporarily installed along MacArthur Blvd, the City and State piers, in the city’s Seaport Cultural District.

This project throughout the years has not only been a success, but it has been a great way for artists to make money at what they love, and that is the true success.

The city of New Bedford will shine this year with the new art work! The residents and visitors will be very thankful to you for your support of this lively project!

We need this money by May 3rd 2017.  I also want you to know that this money is just a small part of the big picture! Our total budget is $20,000.  Most of which comes from grants and private donations.

Please feel free to email me your businesses logo!
