Scott's Cancer Fund

Friends, family and well-wishers,

Last week my family received devastating news that my Brother-in-law, Scott Brainard was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma, a very serious and aggressive cancer of the esophogus.  A treatment plan for Scott's fight with cancer is still being discussed but will hastily be approaching.

Scott has made my family and I so proud in ways that I can't even begin to put into words.  I have to admit that in the beginning, I didn't like the guy! After all, he was going to marry my little sister!  But after getting to know him I've grown to love him as my brother, like so many of us have.  Scott has been a personal inspiration by putting his selfless approach to life on display daily.  Family ALWAYS comes first!  If you know Scott, you know exactly what I'm talking about.  The Brainard's now have a beautiful family, 5 in all (2 beautiful little girls, Hayden and Kaylee and one little hunk, Ashton), that are built on the foundation that Scott and my little sister Alicia, who I love dearly, have built.  Through thick and thin this family has been there, no matter the circumstance, to support friends and family and now it's our turn!

We are asking those of you who know Scott and Alicia or feel connected to their story in any way, to help support the Brainard family during their time of need.  

This account has been set up to help raise money for the mounting medical bills and expenses that they have been faced with.

I challenge each and every one of you to share this with as many people as you can so that we may succeed in doing our part to help.  Let us take some of the burden off of their shoulders so that they may focus their strength solely on the fight ahead.  

We are so grateful for all of your love and support.  Keep the Brainard's in your thoughts and prayers and let's all join this fight together and KICK CANCER'S ASS!!!!
