School Bus Pass Service

Roads in Saint Lucia are dangerous and for children they can be deadly. Most families can not afford to pay for public bus transportation. Many children walk along the edges of steep mountainous roads to get to school. Some children do not attend school on days when there is no money for food or bus fare.
This year in the village of Marigot, students ages 4-11 that are in need will be given a free school Bus Pass. Students will be transported to and from school on a safe bus with an adult bus monitor.
The cost of 1 Bus Pass for a child is $150. We have 33 students this year in need of sponsors. Any donor who wishes to sponsor a child with the gift of a Bus Pass will also have the opportunity to receive personal updates from the child via hand written notes, drawings and/or photos.
100% of funds raised will go directly to providing a Bus Pass that is valid for the entire school year. Should we reach beyond our goal, any additional funds will be allocated for the following school year.
Our program begins September 2017. Please help us keep children safe.
