Save Our Pollinators From The Flood
Tax deductible
The Torstenson Youth Conservation Education Center, partnered with the Illinois Conservation Foundation, experienced devastation with rising flood waters. The non-profit education center recently developed a pollinator garden with milkweed for monarch butterflies and bees. However, with the flooding, the garden has been destroyed and needs replanting. Additionally, the beehive refuge on the property was flooded, requiring the bees to be relocated to higher ground.
The first $1000 raised will go directly to replanting the milkweed and relocating the beehives. The rest of the donations will go towards restoring the damaged 110-acre prairie preserve near Chicagoland at the center. Please take a moment to consider how YOU could help save the precious pollinators!
