Help Save Moshi

My name is Skylar and I’m 18 years old. My best friend is my cat, Moshi. We’ve grown up together, he’s been by my side through everything and I can’t imagine how my life would be without him. He’s the sweetest cat I’ve ever met and the only animal I’ve ever really connected to. He just turned 10 years old and became suddenly ill yesterday. I scraped every last penny i had together and took him to the emergency vet. This cat is usually so full of life and constantly purring by your side no matter how down he is but he was none of that yesterday. He was lethargic, vomiting and soiling himself. When I got to the vet they told me his bladder was the size of a softball and it was about to rupture, leaking toxic waste into his abdomen and they said he probably would not make it through the night. It would be about $3000 for all his bloodwork, x-rays, hospital stay and treatment. I did not have the money to do the testing to find out exactly what was wrong with him so they did what they could and emptied his bladder and gave him some pain medication along with antibiotics. This gave us a bit more time to figure out what to do but I’m not sure how much longer. He has some sort of blockage, possibly kidney stones and while he is feeling a little bit better right now he is starting to go down again. I must get him into the vet ASAP to be diagnosed and treated but it could cost as much as $3000. It is very hard for me to ask for help and is unlike me to do so but now he is suffering and I am not prepared to lose my best friend over something that can be fixed. Any donation you can give is much appreciated. This is life threatening and we only have so much time. Should whatever money I raise be more than his treatment cost, I will donate whatever is left to a kitty rescue or another animal that needs emergency assistance. Please help me save my best friend.
