New Yoga Studio for Navarre

Donation protected
We are seeking assistance to build our new yoga studio. We have signed a lease on our new place and we must now start the build out.  As a team, Cara and I are looking to use our combined knowledge to enable and empower students toward healing through the various practices of yoga.

We started our yoga journey with Kathy, the current owner, so it just seems natural that we continue to grow what she started. Cara and I love the

We would appreciate and be forever grateful for your help in supporting this business venture.

We hope to raise $10,000 by the 6th of July, 2018. We appreciate any amount of money that you can donate.

If all of our Facebook friends only donated $5 each we would be almost to our goal!!!

We would love to share a little about why we want to buy Navarre Living Yoga.

Cara's Story: I found yoga when my kids were very young. Like many stay at home moms, I was at the point in my life where my time was spent conversing with my tiny humans about Barbie and Bob the Builder. Seeing that I was on the verge of insanity, my husband saw a sign for a yoga class that was starting soon at the gym and suggested I try it.
There my love of yoga began.
This was time for me to focus on me and my needs. As I continued with the practice and my children grew older, they began suggesting I go “take a class”, usually to get me out of the house.  I happen to be a perfectionist, and viewed everything as a competition or work. My fire tends to burn hot and fast and I have the habit to push myself to my physical, emotional, and energetic limits. When I started my 200 hour training in 2011 and began learning on a deeper level about yoga, I realized how profoundly yoga was changing my life.
I have continued my studies following my passions with Prenatal certifications, Mantra and other certifications. Currently I am focused on completing my studies to become a Certified Yoga Therapist.
I teach many classes at various locations in Navarre because I love the physicality and feel passionate about bringing yoga to as many people as possible.
Yoga has taught me humility. I now know how to listen to my body and my heart and know when to back off, when to push forward, when to walk away and to keep going full steam ahead. I am now entering a new phase of my life as my children are looking at college and believe that I can focus my fire and energy on sustaining and building our little studio here in Navarre.

Willow's Story: I will forever be grateful to Kathy Tabb and Lyissa O’Conner for introducing me to yoga.

It was a small sign that caught my eye on Highway 98. One of those signs that you almost think you have made up in your mind because it was exactly what you need at the precse moment you needed it!!!

I got out of the Air Force in 2007 and was so excited to be a stay at home mom. I soon found out that moms do not get breaks and they do not get recognition or appreciation. It was a tough transition for me.
I fell in love with yoga in that very first class.
I worked my body hard but I was so calm and relaxed when it was over. I found that going to a yoga class allowed me to have a break from being mom, and it also allowed me to really tune into my own body. For the first time in my life, I started to understand the signals my body was giving me. I also noticed that I had more patience for my toddlers and felt more joy on a daily basis.

In 2011, I went to Yoga Teacher Training with my good friend Cara. Kathy told me that she needed a sub for her classes so I went training. I had no idea how much it would change my life. The many practices of yoga; asana (physical), pranayama (breath work),  and meditaion have taught me that we are so much more than just a body and a mind. Gentle Yoga, Yin Yoga and Meditation are my favorite practices to do and share with my students.

Yoga is about Union. Uniting mind, body and spirit.

Cara and I want this opportunity to continue to share our love of yoga with the Navarre CommUnity but not just as teachers, as owners of Navarre Living Yoga.

We are grateful for all of the students and teachers that we have had in this life so far.
