Samira's Army Cancer Battle Fund

Samira is known widely as a compassionate, generous, hard working woman, and an incredible teacher.  She has often referred to the girls in her dance company Cairo Fusion as her "army".  So now her army is rising up to help her wage war on Breast Cancer.

We all know that hospital bills are outrageous, especially when they include surgery and chemotherapy.  But what we don't think about is the loss of income.  Samira not only runs a dance company, she is a hairdresser, and runs Gypsy Blue, her retail shop.  With the down time required, she is not able to work at any of her loves.  Not to mention, since her bilateral mastectomy, she cannot do many of the physical requirements to care for her 3 year old son.  And chemotherapy is in the near future.  She is blessed to have a wonderful husband who can stay home and care for the both of them.  

We, as her army and her friends, want to raise funds to help offset the cost of living, and keep her businesses afloat until she can return to them full time. 

I have never met anyone who gives so fully of herself as Samira does.  I feel it is time for us to give a little bit of that back.
