You all have made it possible for us to open our doors to rescued animals from Hurricane Harvey. Because of the overwhelming number of people who are willing to foster/adopt we have the means to bring in more animals. However, we need your help! Our budget did not factor in bringing in this many rescues in such a short time. We originally planned on bringing in 2 dogs and 5 cats. However, we are looking to at least double those numbers. With unknown medical histories and no telling the special care these animals will need, we are unsure of the impact this will have to our already stretched budget.
Did you know that it costs SMAWL at least $300-$400 per dog intake and can cost us up to $200 per cat intake? You can contribute to sponsor an entire dog or cat or even just a portion of an animal. Every dollar counts!
