Sri-Lanka flood victims

Torrential rains causing floods and landslides in Sri-Lanka have caused upwards of 400,000 people to be affected and ~58 deaths at this time. Many pets and animals are in need and they can use your help too.

I am collecting money in order to distribute it directly to people and animals in need through the Colombo Rotary Club -Midtown

Personal info: my name is Quraish Fazleabas and I grew up most of my life in Srilanka- my dad is the president-elect to the Rotary club- Colombo midtown who has been very active during this time of need. Please see my updates for how your generous donations are being used. We are getting the funds to those needed by direct donations to the Rotary club as well as personally purchasing required goods. Our hope is to be active during the next phase of preventing sequelae of the flood and landslides as well as be active in obtaining books to aid those students who lost their educational items required for studying for their exams
