Overhaulin' Stinky

"Stinky" is the name of our 1972 Dodge Travco who earned her name due to her age, so many visitors, and an old, small holding tank. Our tailgating club was founded by two siblings and their spouses in1995. With the men's names both being Greg the name of the tailgate was born, G&G Tiger Express Social & Pleasure Club. We celebrated our 20th anniversary this year with many memories in "tow". One of which is literally having to tow our tailgating palace to our prime spot in front of Death Valley (LSU football stadium). Many other memories shared here include the pregnancies of close friends and family, the engagement of one owner's daughter, Best of LSU Gameday "Best Tailgate", the joy of celebrating with now the fourth generation of Stinky tailgaters, and even plaques being made in honor of our tailgate and epic motorhome. In addition to our antique bus, we have a fiberglass tiger purchased from Esso, now known as Exxon, that is often used as a marker for finding someone on Gameday because it is a gameday icon/landmark. Her interior isn't tiger shy either, the yellow with purple tiger paw walls are adorned with signatures  from LSU famers such as Les Miles, Lolo Jones, Skip Bertman, David Toms, and even Nick Saban, of course he wasn't "He who shall not be named" then!

In 2013 we kick started our SAVE STINKY campaign. With the funds collected in the past Stinky has been able to survive the last two football seasons. However, those funds were drained when she had to be towed to the last five home games this year. There was talk about buying a new bus but she has become a Tiger Gameday landmark, we had to find a way to keep her alive. She is in need of an almost entire mechanical rebuild. We are humbly asking for donations to help keep this tradition alive for the youngest generation of Stinky tailgaters and those to come.  Thank you to the devoted LSU fans and Stinky supporters
