RAISE AND SHINE NURSERY SCHOOL RWANDA

In October 2018 Jules Langstaff, Darlene Kinton and Rebecca Elston visited a remote nursery school in Kabeza Village, Gatsibo Distric in the Eastern Province of Rwanda.
The school was founded by two villagers Boniface Muddu and his daughter Peace Muhinda. 150 children greeted the team with joyful song and dance. We enjoyed a tour of the two classrooms funded by the founders. The children can barely afford the £5 a term fees and the teachers work for 50% wages. They desperately needed a Water supply and the team left £500 which paid for a 4,500 litre underground well catching the rain water from the classrooms. A success story.
The school desperately needs TOILETS, this is at a cost of £2,000.
JULES IS 60 in March and instead of cards or presents is asking for donations to fund the build of the toilets for the children.
If the school has a future it has to have water and toilets, help us keep this school for the poorest.
Jules Langstaff has been fundraising since 2006 supporting an ever growing number of projects in Rwanda. Helping HIV Genocide widows, orphanages, street boys centre, clinics, disability centres, schools and sponsoring children from nursery school through to University. Paying medical bills for the poorest and most needy, saving lives and helping to set up small business enterprises for those with dependant children and no other family support. 3 x 40 foot containers of aid has been lovingly procured, packed and loaded and shipped at £10,000 per time. Each time the aid has been received and distributed at no cost to the recipients. Jules and her wonderful ever changing team have spent weeks in Rwanda, paid for at their own expense, to ensure the aid Meets its destination safely.
