Tanaya is a member of the Royal Knights Marching Band out of ENY Brooklyn, she was a very dedicated member and last night someone took her life and took her from people who love and care for her.

There isn't anything we can do - no words will stop the flow of tears from family, friends and band community that is now reflecting and hurting.

I ask for your support in lighting the burden of the family.

A donation of $25 and you asking 10 people to do the same.

It takes a village to make it through this life.

WE NEED YOU!

I am so proud of the village in raising almost 1000 on the first day. If we can not give another $10 or $20 - the best you can do is share the link with 10 people and personally ask them to make a donation of at least $10 - the family has enough to deal with - lets help by making money less of an issue. Her life and legacy is worth more then a donation... money we would normally blow in 1 weekend... lets be a blessing to the family today!

The Royal Knights Marching Band is an amazing group of young people. I was so inspired by your courage and audacity to keep marching and to keep giving back to the community with your music even though you're dealing with a terrible loss. Your participation in the Brooklyn Mobile Band Convergence this past Saturday was irreplaceable. It meant a lot to everyone here at Make Music NY and I know the wider Brooklyn community will feel the impact of your perseverence. Thank you students and Dir. Oz Smith! Sending you my thoughts & prayers. -Susan Karabush
