Join Rosie's Fight against Cancer

Donation protected
In August 2016, Rosie was diagnosed with cervical cancer at the young age of 34. After receiving all recommended medical procedures, chemo and radiation the journey seemed short, as she battled through it. For a few weeks, she was doing great . In early April, after back pain started, Dr's confirmed the cancer had in fact spread into her sternum and spine. She began her new treatment plans, ready to keep moving forward, without complaining, or hesitiation with only positivity, as we all know Rosie would.

We are now nearing one year since she has been diagnosed. Although every day there is new developments, new struggles, and sometimes pain that will not cease, she is still fighting and will not give up.

Without too much detail, Rosie is currently hospitlized and there is not a set date of when she can go home. Rosie and her husband Jose, have their son Kenny 16, Lily 8, and Abigail 6. Jose works full time, utilizing his FMLA pay when needed. As one can imgaine, every time his wife is hospitlized, he needs to be by her side. As of 2 weeks ago, his FMLA pay has been used completly. Although his job and position is secure, while he needs time off to be with Rosie, he no longer is paid for any days he can not make it into work.

The hope is that all who donate, whether its 1$ or 100$, we can help ease at the very least, the stress of money in these next few important months to come. Jose is doing his very best to go into work to support his family, be by Rosie's side, and continue to make sure their kids are maintining the life they are used to. And Rosie of course, is being the normal wife and mother, reminding him of technology time limits, not to many sweets,  and to brush the girls hair a certain way.... Jose is doing a great job, with the world on his shoulders.  This money will be used to allow Jose to be where its most important, near Rosie's side.

Please share this link with all the many people that know Rosie and are rooting for her. More than anything, please continue the prayers for their family that God heals her and continues to give her and Jose strength to fight this battle.

Many thanks and blessings.
