HVAC--female Vet reintegration home

Tax deductible
"We preserve for those who served"

The Pamlico Rose Institute for Sustainable Communities (PRISC), a North Carolina 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has recently purchased a historic house in Washington, NC. After extensive rehabilitation it will become a reintegration home for female Veterans struggling with substance abuse.

PRISC's mission is to improve communities with historical preservation while serving at-need Veteran populations. We have called this soon to be home, our Rose Haven project. The requirements to rehabilitate this historic home span a wide range - from electrical upgrades, to paint, to a new hot water heater, adding a bathroom, and everything in between in order to bring the home into the 21st century while maintaining its historic curb appeal.

The goal for this initial campaign is to raise $20,000 to install a new HVAC system for the home. Donations of any size will help. We have volunteers ready to work.

In later campaigns, we will highlight other categories of needs, such as purchasing a hot water tank, or repairing the electrical system throughout the house, as we move through the rehab.

If you want to learn more about the project, or other PRISC efforts, just visit our website at www.PamlicoRose.org.
