Help Rod win his Battle with Cancer

My name is Dianne Koningen. I am Rod's cousin and my heart goes out to him and his wife, Bron.  This is my way of helping.

Meet Rod: 61, a doting grandfather, father and husband, with an eternity of love and life ahead of him. 
Until his world was blown apart.

I’ll be upfront.
I’m appealing to your compassionate hearts to donate generously to help Rod fight the hardest fight of his life.

After a year of searching for an answer to continuing health issues, Rod was diagnosed with inoperable Neuroendocrine cancer. The hospital Oncologist said: “I’ll be blunt. You have Stage 4 cancer and it is incurable.” (Hence, no suggestion of chemotherapy or radium treatment, simply a drug to try to suppress the symptoms and hopefully extend life.)
Rod doesn’t believe that and is determined to prove him wrong.

After extensive research Rod found a medical Integrative Oncologist at a Gold Coast Clinic, who has successfully treated other cancer patients. She impressed upon him the urgency of his situation.  After some success with Rod's therapies, the Oncologist  is now  exploring  clinics overseas which have dealt with this rare form of cancer.

Of course, the resulting costs and treatment are expensive and Rod is not able to work.  His wife Bron has also taken time off to support him during this very challenging time.  There is very little cash to fall back on. Rod and Bron are far from complaining - they are just focused on doing everything possible to beat the cancer.

To further complicate things, Rod’s stress levels are understandably through the roof, and sadly the stress hormones flooding his body can increase the spread of cancer. So treatment is needed to address Rod’s health holistically - physically, emotionally, mentally
