Holiday Blessings

Donation protected
Ho Ho Ho!  Well, it's almost Thanksgiving and Hanukkah and Christmas are soon to follow...so, lest you forget your loving and furry friends at the Rescue Ranch, we're taking a time out from ordinary life to celebrate with you ahead of time by asking you to give a gift to the Rescue Ranch: *in memory of, *instead of, *to someone (or just because...)--and we'll follow it up with the appropriate holiday card (*you just let us know to whom it goes!)

Our many dogs still need to eat, take their medications, have life-long injuries and some new illnesses that need to be taken care of no matter the date in the year--or time in the day/night!  Please don't forget about this very serious need during the next two-three months.  This is when rescuing is the most difficult because the resources have to be stretched so thin and they are already taught.

How can you help?  You can give here.  You can go to our website and use the the pp and amazon gift card links above the blog section. The mailing address is below and the Wish Lists links on the blog page can be used literally or as inspiration.  (http://www.firststop-laststop.com/blog.html)

Why should you help?  Doing something good always makes us feel better but why?  It is only by giving to others that our lives are really blessed.  It is the intention and the kind-heart and the spirit that all count.  Do the best that you can, that is all that is ever asked of us all.  Plus, these animals are some of the neatest on the planet (next to your own), who bravely survived unthinkable acts and odds and yet can forgive, move on, be happy, love each other and even love and trust humans, those who mostly caused their unthinkable pains before they arrived at the Rescue Ranch.  We can learn--and should--amazing life lessons from each and every one of them.

These funds are only the bare minimum of what is needed through to mid January when hopefully everyone is getting back to themselves again--all of the cheer and mulling spices have long left the air!  Although I have put a bare minimum amount on this mini-fundrasier, I hope that it keeps going and that collectively, through the other ways to help we make it through what will be very trying times.

Always humbly and profoundly grateful.

PLEASE USE YOUR "SHARE POWER" and let others have the same opportunity to be blessed and/or to make a gift in the name of another.

Really, how many scarves or teapots or blenders or or or can a person have?

Knowing that a disabled animal's heart is singing because its' tummy is fed and it has a warm bed, is safe, is getting the medication it needs to live as best a life as possible and is happily chewing on a bone means a whole lot than a new pair of underwear!  Please think about how important helping the Rescue Ranch really is.
