Kuira Ba. We are One. Help the Raramuri

Kuira Ba. Which means "We are One" and "Hello" in the Raramuri language.. A term which has helped change and redefined my life, also helping me see a new perspective on how we live. I went to Mexico two years ago to run a race organized by my amigo, and hermano Micah True(Caballo Blanco) , his dream was to help continue the running traditions of the Raramuri people and to help them when times were tough during drought and tough times with the cartels. While i was there my spirit was touched by this amazing tribe of people, like us in many ways, they live much more simply but have to overcome so much more, still smiling and sharing. I am forever grateful for the gifts they have given me. So now its my time to give back! I will be running the Leadville Trail 100 on August 17th and 18th this race is hard and grueling. But will have a crew of Mas Locos behind me to help get it done. My goal is to run the race, finish, and raise some money in the process. The money will go to Norawas De Raramuri
a non-profit that was set up by past participants of the Copper Canyon Ultra, and Micah True himself, to help the Raramuri continue their traditions. And to distribute non GMO seeds and corn to the tribe. Korima... or the circle of sharing is a big part of the Raramuri culture, giving without the expectation of receiving.
I need your help! Now is our time to spread Korima, 100 LBS of corn is equal to about $20USD so even a smallest donation can help make a big difference in many lives!
