Randy kemp's wellness fund

Randy Kemp is one of the greatest human beings on this planet. I'm not saying that just because he's my father but because I have seen first hand how many people, lives and communities this guy has touched and given selflessly too. Always there if anything is needed of him, no matter how busy his schedule is. (He is ALWAYS on the go, we can't keep track of him half the time.) He has been a huge part of the native community here in Phoenix and has worked countless hours to donate his time wherever he sees need. If you have ever meet him you know how genuine, humble, warm, supportive and loving he is. He has such a great spirit and energy that draws you toward him, it's infectious. I'm unsure of how I got so lucky that I am able to call him my father!

All that being said, my father is and has always been very private about his health and ongoing health issues that he constantly has to deal with. He doesn't want to burden or have anyone fuss or worry about him.

This past week and a half has hit us hard and without warning. He was admitted to Phoenix baptist hospital on Tuesday May 3rd with complications with his heart. Something we had no clue was happening, but apparently had been for a while. We had got there JUST in time for them to act fast and stabilize him. He got a crazy ride in a helicopter to transfer him to a facility to better suit his needs while endless amount of doctors, surgeons and nurses were making sure his heart was at least stable. He had a few days of recovery time in the hospital and was able to be home in time for Mother's Day (the only gift my mother wanted). But unfortunately, the healing process took a turn and he was re-admitted this past Friday afternoon after a scheduled doctors check up revealed more issues. Physically, this time it was the most strenuous and painful thing he had ever been through in his life. I don't know how many times we've prayed and cried but we are all exhausted. He is stable as I type this but he is still in the ICU here in Goodyear, where he was first transferred.

I ask that you keep Randy (Pops) and my family in your thoughts, prayers and sage burnings.

I made this fundraiser knowing that there are certain things his insurance won't be covering (like the fancy helicopter ride that in his own words was a "jip!, didn't get to see anything!" Co-pays for the hospital stays, medications, traveling and food expenses. I don't want my mom or dad to be stressed about anything else. I will adjust the amount as things come.

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart and soul for all your support!
