Hey there! My name is Rain Scott and I'm 22 years old. This coming December, I will be representing Sunnyvale, CA in the Miss California 2016 competition.
The cost to compete is $1,750, not including expenses for dresses and training and everything else- yeah, like a Chapman University graduate has that money right out of college! So, this is a big investment!
So, I'm throwing this out there to all of you! I would be honored to represent Sunnyvale, and California in its entirety, and would be more than appreciative of any donations to help me along the way! I know I can raise the money with a little help from my friends.
My goal for this GoFundMe is $2,000 to pay for the remainder of my Miss CA entrance fee, the fees for outside preparation such as coaching, items I will need to compete such as an evening gown, and the fee the site takes for providing its services.
If just 75 people donated $35, I would reach my goal in its entirety! However, I appreciate any and all donations that come my way, and I will make sure to thank you personally. Thank you all for your support, monetary or emotionally- it really means a lot!
