Aid Rachel's Recovery

A New Twist and Need

Rachel started Unchained, a non-profit in 2011 to benefit victims of domestic sex trafficking.   She has continued to dedicate her life to this cause,  speaking to teens in public schools and training teachers in identifying at-risk students.

Rachel was diagnosed with a brain lesion and a viral infection which created vertigo-like symptoms the beginning of December which caused her to be admitted into Vanderbilt Hospital for five days and a few weeks of recovery following being released.  During this time Rachel lost her job because of her illness.

January 16th, Rachel was supposed to begin a new job but prior to starting work she suffered a knee injury that resulted in her going to the ER.  The MRI at the ER found that she tore her ACL and will require surgery.   This has left Rachel without a way of earning money since she doesn't take a paycheck from Unchained Movement. She had gone over a month since she received her partial paycheck from the job she lost due to her illness in December.

During this time Rachel has not had health insurance.  She is pending approval to obtain insurance but if approved it would not take effect until February 1st.  She is in need of financial assistance to cover her basic bills, medication, groceries and some of her doctor's bills that she has been paying out of pocket.

Rachel is willing to work from home during this time by doing website design, creating marketing materials and video editing/creation.  If you know of anyone who might need these kinds of services please reach out to her directly at [email redacted]

Any donations would be so greatly appreciated in this time while she is trying to recover and heal.
